What's New for 2010-2011

| A New Face! We have a new face joining Miss Teresa at West Nebraska Musikgarten! Nichole Mumm began her Musikgarten career four years ago while attending Chadron State College. She was able to help begin a Musikgarten program in Chadron and is excited to become a part of West Nebraska Musikgarten. Through her experiences with the Musikgarten program, Nichole has seen first hand the benefits that music and movement can have on the whole child, and hopes to help bring those benefits and experiences to children and their families in the Sidney area. Nichole earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with a second endorsement in K-8 music. She's currently, teaching 8th grade English at Sidney Middle School. Along with her husband Eric, Nichole helps with the worship team at New Hope Fellowship church in Lodgepole, and at the Upper Room youth group in Sidney. Nichole will be teaching a Family Music class this summer, in addition to helping Miss Teresa with Nature Music Camp. She'll be teaching classes in the fall, as well.

Class Schedule Fall 2010 Family Music for Babies and Toddlers (mixed age group) Monday or Tuesday at 4:30 OR 5:30 Begins September 20, 2010. Classes last 35 minutes; 14 week semester. Cycle of Seasons (3-5 year olds) Monday or Tuesday at 4:30OR 5:30. Begins September 20, 2010. Classes last 45 minutes; 14 week semester. Music Makers at the Keyboard (5+ to 9 year olds) Wednesdays at 4:45. Begins September 22, 2010. Classes last 60 minutes; 14 week semester. Music Makers at the Keyboard III (prerequisite MMK I and II) Thursdays at 4:15. Begins September 23, 2010. Classes last 60 minutes; 14 week semester. Adult Piano Classes ( teen to senior citizen) Wednesdays or Thursdays by appointment. Begins September 22, 2010. Classes last 60 minutes; 8 week semester. |
